Edward Francis
Edward Francis is Adjunct Professor of Piano at Pepperdine University and Moorpark College. His principal teachers were Mildred McGowan-Ryan, Peter Yazbeck, Francoise Regnat, Jakob Gimpel and Edward Auer. He holds degrees in piano performance from CSU Northridge. He performs frequently with his trio, The Westlake Chamber Ensemble, playing standard literature and commissioning new works. As one half of the Faculty Artist DeCesare/Francis Duo, he plays duo and duet literature on frequent recitals. He has performed concerti with numerous orchestras and is a member of the MTAC, MTNA and volunteers as a member of the New West Symphony Educational Outreach Committee, is a board member of the Conejo Valley Symphony Orchestra and is the Coordinator of the Concerts in the Library series for the city of Thousand Oaks. He is currently serving a second term as president of the Conejo Valley Chapter, MTAC.
