Andrew Boyle
Andrew Boyle has had the privilege of studying with internationally renowned conductor and pianist Jeffrey Kahane. In addition to solo playing, he is an avid chamber musician and has performed extensively with cellist Keith Williams as a part of the Boyle.Williams Duo. Together they recently won the Beverly Hills National Auditions. Andrew serves as a collaborative pianist for Interlochen Arts Camp during the summer. He has also won first prize in the Gail Newby Concerto Competition, Tucson Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Competition, second prize in the USC Concerto Competition and third prize in the Jacob Flier International Piano Competition in New York. He is also passionate about improvisation: he has recorded a jazz album with vocalist Grace Roman and has studied 18th century classical improvisation and partimenti with Tobias Cramm in Basel, Switzerland. He is also grateful for the teaching of Robert Roux and Robert Hamilton.
