JCM 2027 Nordic/Baltic Tour — Helsinki & Tallinn
JCM will travel to Helsinki, Finland and Tallinn, Estonia for an unforgettable international chamber music experience. Students will participate in master classes and musical exchanges, perform in both Helsinki and Tallinn, and explore the rich history, culture, and musical traditions of these extraordinary cities. Highlights include discovering the world of Jean Sibelius in Finland, crossing the Baltic to Estonia, and exploring Tallinn’s spectacular medieval Old Town. Great music, new perspectives, and lifelong connections.

JCM ensembles toured Venice, Verona, and Florence, with performances and musical activities including a visit to the Conservatorio di Musica Benedetto Marcello di Venezia (Venice Conservatory).

JCM expanded its Southern California presence with the establishment of a new San Diego branch, directed by Xiao Chen, extending JCM chamber music opportunities to students throughout the San Diego region.

Registration for the 2026–27 season is open, with early‑bird details, YouTube performance releases, community referral reminders, and a special message from Philip of ARKAI celebrating his journey from JCM to the GRAMMYs.

Students will study with master teachers at Korea’s prestigious Seoul University and Yonsei University. Students will perform concerts in Busan, Korea and then in Tokyo, Japan.

Over Presidents' Day Weekend, JCM students gathered in Idyllwild for an unforgettable retreat filled with chamber music coachings, master classes, and mountain fun. Highlights included rehearsals at the Idyllwild Arts Academy, fireside gatherings, and a final concert in Lowman Hall.

Nine Honors Groups were selected for an unforgettable music tour to Venice, Verona, Florence, and Rome.

Nine JCM groups came to study intensely at the Idyllwild Academy of the Arts. They have daily rehearsals and coaching in their own practice studio in the forest. 

Honors groups traveled to Berlin, Germany to study intensely for 10 days at the CPE Bach Academy of Music.
