Arensky Trio

Lucas Nguyen, an 18-year-old violinist, has been captivating audiences with his passion and talent for music since the age of four. Under the guidance of acclaimed violinist Michelle Park, Lucas has spent years honing his craft, evolving into a highly skilled and expressive musician.

Currently, Lucas holds the position of Concertmaster for his high school Philharmonic Orchestra, showcasing his leadership and technical expertise. He is also an accomplished member of the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra, where he performs alongside some of the most talented young musicians in the region. Additionally, Lucas is in his second year with the Orange County branch of Junior Chamber Music, allowing him to further explore the intricacies and beauty of chamber music performance.

Lucas’ dedication to his art has earned him numerous accolades. In 2024, he was selected for the California All-State Symphony Orchestra and was named a semi-finalist for the Orange County Artist of the Year Award. He has claimed First Place and the Grand Prize at the Satori Music Festival, as well as First Place in prestigious competitions such as VOCE, ASTA, and the American Protégé International Concerto Competition.

Lucas continues to inspire with his artistry and hard work, paving the way for a bright future in music. Lucas hopes to continue his music study in college next year.
