Noah Choi, currently a junior at Valencia High School, started playing when he was in first grade. He studies under Mrs. Young Sook Park, who has taught him for 9 years. Throughout the years, Noah has been a top prize winner in numerous competitions such as the Junior Bach Festival Complete Works Audition, SYMF Open Solo, Satori Music Festival, MTAC Branch Festivals, and Charleston International Music Competitions. During his sophomore year, he received the MTAC Panel Honors Award. 

In addition to his solo work, Noah has also enjoyed working in chamber groups. He played in JCM for 4 years as a trio pianist, playing various classical trios. He has found success with his group in ensemble competitions, placing 3rd in the VOCE States Competition and 2nd in the JCM Competition.

Outside of music, Noah enjoys playing tennis with his school’s varsity team and spending time with his little brother, who is 7 years younger than him.

Joel Kim is a 15 years old violinist and is attending Diamond Bar High School as a  freshman. He received 1st place for VOCE Southern Region  in 2022, and was a finalist for the Los Angeles  area of the 2023 CalASTA competition. Joel also  takes part in chamber music, receiving 2nd place  in the JCM competition for the 2023 year, and was  3rd place in the state finals for ensemble playing  in the VOCE competition, and was given the  Richard Anshutz scholarship from the Chamber  Music Institute Southern California in 2022. He  has also performed with the Claremont Young  Musicians Orchestra, the Summer Chamber  Music Institute, the SCSBOA, and All State CODA  honor orchestras. He also performed with the Pasadena Summer Chamber orchestra and participated in the Amici International Music Festival for 2023.

Joel likes to read and watch movies during his free time. He also enjoys running in cross country and exercising. He is currently studying the violin at Mori & Park Violin Studio. 

Joyce (Chihyu) Chang is a senior at Corona Del Mar High School. She is a member and the assistant principal celliest of the Orange County Youth Symphony (OCYS). She currently studies with Ms. Coco Yanan Hu, and had received awards in multiple solo competetions throughout the years. She won the 1st prize from Golden Music Award International competition in 2024, 2nd Place Winner for the American Protege International Piano & Strings Competition 2024, and 2nd Place Satori Summer Music Festival 2023. Her cello ensemble from Coco Hu cello studio also received award for Great Composer International ensemble competetion
