Ornela Ervin
Albanian pianist, Ornela Ervin, received her artist's diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirane, Albania. Upon graduation she moved to the United States and currently maintains a large studio of award winning students.
She is the President of MTAC Conejo Valley, is a board member of the Thousand Oaks Philharmonic and is director of the orchestra's Appassionata program. She also served on the board of the Sara Compinsky Masterclass Series. She performs regularly with the Luminoso Quartet and with her duet partner, Raya Sadigursky. Ornela is a member of the Chopin Project, is a regular guest artist at the CVYO Chamber Music festival, and has also performed at the "Peace In" concert series.
Ornela is a faculty member of the Montecito Festival and an evaluator for the Certificate of Merit program, among others. In 2021, Ornela was recognized with the Community Service Award presented by the City of Thousand Oaks for her commitment to advancing the Arts
