Teresa de Jong Pombo

Teresa de Jong Pombo is a regular soloist with the Orange Coast College Symphony Orchestra and has been Guest Artist at the Joanna Hodges Piano Conference, and performed in American Music Week, Austria, on invitation by the U.S. Embassy, sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts. She is on the faculty of the Colburn School and Orange Coast College. In a return engagement to Colombia she presented a piano pedagogy seminar at the Universidad Javeriana. Ms. de Jong Pombo received her BM and MM from USC, studying under Professor James Bonn, where she held several scholarships and was an Assistant Lecturer in the Keyboard Department. She was awarded a Fulbright Grant to study in Vienna with Hans Graf at the Hochschule fuer Musik, where she graduated with the Konzertfach Diplom in Piano Performance.
